JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist marketing team members, and effectively follow through with directions, in the following activities:

• Design and update website pages using plug-and-play builders to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
• Create digital assets, including social media graphics, email templates, and online ads, that align with brand identity.
• Design print materials such as brochures, store signage, and trade show displays.
• Assist in managing marketing campaigns, email assets, and digital content in Odoo (training provided if needed).
• Maintain brand consistency across all design projects, ensuring a cohesive look and feel.
• Support UX improvements by simplifying navigation and optimizing customer journeys.

A general laborer in the Saw Shop will learn to become capable in all of the following:

• Assistant to a Saw Tech or Supervisor with the Crusher, Guillotine, Tumbler, Single Blade, Double Blade and Triple Blade Stone Saws, Gantry Saws A and B.
• Safely and effective Forklift Driver, who can instruct or direct a new employee.
• Crusher Operator, who can instruct or direct an assistant.
• Guillotine Operator, who can instruct or direct an assistant.
• Read a Tape Measure Quickly and Accurately with a proven record of accurate cuts.
• Arrange and Organize the Shop and Yard; clean and shovel as necessary
• Identify all stone by color and type
• Identify when Equipment is Unsafe for Use or Needs Maintenance

Safety Considerations and General Rules

1. Learn to use the various saws safely according to best practices you’ve learned in training.
2. Work quickly, but not at the risk of working unsafely, nor at the risk to damaging equipment. Whenever you have a question about safe and   effective operation, ask.
3. Lift properly. Recognize when something is too heavy for you to lift safely and either get help or use assistive equipment, like a forklift or loader.
4. Operate only that equipment or tools you’ve been fully trained to use.
5. Cut stones in such a way to maximize what high-value product results. For example, don’t cut a large stone into a bunch of samples. Samples be made from leftover scraps from a larger product.
6. Ensure your work area is safely arranged. Anticipate unsafe conditions, report them to your supervisor if necessary, and otherwise rearrange the area to ensure you and others don’t get hurt.
7. Use all safety equipment that we instruct you is necessary for your protection.
8. Perform clean up as needed.
