General Labor Interview Survey
This interview survey is for General Labor Applicants. For specific jobs, you may choose to set up a custom survey.
Compensation:
Discuss compensation only at the stage at which you have decided this candidate is the right candidate for the job. Most candidates should be pre-screened for whether the salary range is acceptable, unless you specifically ask for wage not to be posted; or you plan to pay your new hire based on experience rather on a range set by the job. If you have more candidates to interview, save the discussion. If the candidate asks, deflect: "We'd like to determine first who we think is the most qualified candidate for the job based on skills and experience, not on their pay requirements. However, if you have a minimum you require, I can note it." Note the pay on the Applicant Record in the Desired Wages field, not on this form.

Pre-Interview Assessment
Review whether the candidate completed a pre-interview assessment and add create customized questions about where the candidate appears deficient (to not match the benchmark set for the ideal candidate). For example, if the candidate is too extroverted or introverted, ask a question that would give you more information about whether this characteristic will present a problem on the job. There is no need to include your personal take on whether the candidate answered correctly; instead, state their answer so that anyone reviewing the information could form their own opinion.
