The old North River quarries of New York’s Heldeberg and Catskill mountain ranges have been famous for over 150 years for hard, fine-grained sandstone. Highly prized for its remarkable deep blue hue.
With sawn top and bottom edges that fit together with precision and strength, Promontory has the refined and elegant tone of the modern age. Ends can be sawn for an even more refined look.

1-5/8" to 7-5/8" coursed heights, 4-24" random lengths, sawn top and bottom, natural cleft face, sawn or random ends. Once called "coursed sawn ashlar."
